Did you kill or spare *******? (2024)

I mean Randall. I killed him, he's a murderer and a psychopath. I must say I USED to hate Sam in Episode 1, but then I liked her in Episode 2, and I felt bad for her father, so I killed his ass. I don't care if Norma hunts us down, which she'll PROBABLY do anyway.

The way I f*cked him up, he wasn't much good as a bargaining chip anymore. I killed him. They really should've shot him in the head immediately instead of letting him describe how he murdered that father in detail to his kids.

Last time I showed any mercy to a character that I was planning to use as a bargaining chip instead of bashing his face in, he escaped and got me killed. Sure he does that even if I hit the crap out of him, but still.

    Here are my predictions:

If you kill Randall, Norma is going to kill everybody in the house.

If you do not kill Randall, Sam will, and then Norma is going to kill everybody in the house.

I killed him after tightening the vice grips twice. Honestly wish I could have tortured him more after his speeches about killing children. His death was a mercy compared to what I wanted to do.

Spared him and tightened the vice. Can't bash anyone's head in if he ain't got functioning hands. Plus I'm pretty sure he'll get what he deserves in the next episode.

Don't make me regret my decision, Randall.

    Yep.

I stopped hitting him when he begged me to stop, although he didn't stop when the Maester begged him to. Something something, higher moral ground, something something.

    I have many regrets.

Tightened the vice and hit him once on the head with a wrench, but spared him.

I think he wanted us to kill him and I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction.

I tightened the vice and hit him, in a attempt to shut him up. My plan was to spare him, but after he said he was gonna kill James and Alex, my choice was pretty clear. I killed Randall.

Killed him in cold blood. I can see now that he did kill the people and kids from the ferry. Norma's group is gonna attack me anyway. But god, I hate Sam AND her father now.

Wanted to kill him, but using him as a possible bargaining chip was the smarter move, so I showed mercy. Then I saw the next time trailer, saw that we get shot at and that the house is on fire and immediately regretted the choice to spare him.

He was so lack of character development and killed him in a stupid way. He opened the gate just to get rid of a walker arm from his yard, if I was him, I would have just tossed it over the fence, he didn't even close the gate after that, did he really forget that there are walkers roaming around the world?

Unfortunately I didn't kill him. Did you kill or spare *******? (24) I couldn't. Pete was with Norma, so it only made sense that I have Randall when she shows up. We make an exchange, and I GTFO of dodge is the plan... but god I wish I could have killed that scumbag.

She doesn't want to kill anymore. Also she was constantly traumatised by the governor thing.

Guess she regrets being a monster for doing that to him then. I have to admit she's no better at that moment even if she was raped.

Most of the time I let people live, but this is one of the rare cases I chose to kill someone. He was just asking to be killed.

  • Piggs

    March 2016

He's pretty much a serial child killer, if you look at the group's previous handiwork, and IIRC he laughs if Michonne mentions that her children died.

Idk about that. What Michonne did was more brutal than what the Governor did by far, but she had way different reasons.

While the Governor hurt Michonne/Rick/Glenn simply out of pleasure and the fact that he had the power to do so. Michonne hurt the Governor because of what the man did. Sure, she cut his co*ck off. But how many rapings did she potentially stop by doing so? At least a few, I am sure.

This was my mentality when torturing Randall. Although i honestly think he was a brilliant character, there was no way he could live any longer. Nor could he die without suffering for what he has done to countless people and their children. Torturing and killing him is not only revenge for those who have suffered by his hands (like Greg, his father John Redcorn, the ferry boat folks, and not to mention Michonne and Pete), it is insurance against him making other people suffer in the indefinite future.

Lee said that we all look like monsters now. The difference is what kind of monster are you? Are you the monster that terrorizes children in the darkness? Or are you the kind that protects them against that other monster, no matter how scary you seem? So the question isn't "is what I am doing wrong", but rather "am I doing these wrong things for the right reasons?". Rant over I just feel like VengefulKenny just needed to get this off his chest.

Honestly I went the strategic route and left him alive. Doing everything because of morals is stupid and lets emotion get in the way. Killing him does no good because it's throwing away the only leverage you have over Norma. Even taking his threats into consideration she might be able to convince him to stand down. That's just my opinion

  • Clemenem

    March 2016

I agree but in Randall's case the Governor treatment wasn't really deserved. Gov gagged and raped her to the point of tears. Randall didn't do sh*t and left no impact on her whatsoever

I killed him and I totally regret it, not just because now I can't bargain with norma but also because it made me feel like a terrible person. That wasn't self defence, that was murder and I sunk down to his level.

I also feel terrible for Norma. She never directly acted against us and we burnt her community. If you tell her about Randall killing John she will say that she disapproves which makes the situation even worse.

  • Clemenem

Yeah, I mean that was attempted and or probable genocide, accidental or not. People are so willing to give free passes to the protagonists no matter what the case but never the antagonists

Spared him, he is Norma's only family and she does not want to lose him so he should be useful for situations Did you kill or spare *******? (40) + he can't hit anyone with a wrench with those hands.

  • wdfan

    March 2016

Spared him for mainly 2 reasons.

    1) Might as well try and use him for negotiation. Even if it doesn't work, killing him just kills all hope.

    2) The game didn't really do enough to make me hate him. Hell I didn't really even consider him a villain in the 1st episode. I can't blame the group for killing him though seeing as he killed the dad.

  • DoubleJump

    March 2016

Spared him. Maybe... somehow... idk.... we can end this peacefully. But probably not and he'll end up dead in the next episode.

  • PowerfulStache

    March 2016

I killed him only because I couldn't risk a monster like him escaping and seeing the light of day again. He killed a man he'd never met in cold blood, and then bragged about it to the faces of the man's kids. I didn't hate him all that much until he killed John, but after that, he couldn't be spared.
