Below, we present macros and addons that can be useful toa Feral Druid (WoW 4.3). On the left side, you will find links to theother parts of the guide.
1.1. Generic Macros for Druids
1.1.1. Innervate
- #showtooltip Innervate
- /cast[target=mouseover,help,nodead][target=focus,help,nodead][target=target,help,nodead][target=player]Innervate
This macro casts Innervate on your mouseover target, if they are afriendly target and not dead. Otherwise, it casts Innervate on your focustarget, if they are a friendly target and not dead. Otherwise, it castsInnervate on your current target, if they are a friendly target and not dead.Otherwise, it casts Innervate on yourself.
1.1.2. Rebirth
- #showtooltip Rebirth
- /cast [target=mouseover,help][target=target]Rebirth

1.1.3. Decurse/Remove Poison
- #showtooltip Remove Corruption
- /cast [target=mouseover,help,nodead][target=target] Remove Corruption
Using this macro will cast Remove Corruption on your mouseovertarget, if they are a friendly player and they are not dead. Otherwise, itwill cast Remove Corruption on your current target.
1.1.4. Dash
- #showtooltip Dash
- /cast [noform:3]Cat Form; [form:3]Dash
This macro shifts you into Cat Form the first time you press it, andthen casts
Dash the second time you press it. If you are already inCat Form, it casts Dash on the first press.
1.2. Specific Macros for Feral Druids
1.2.1. Hand of Protection Cancelaura Macro
- /cancelaura Hand of Protection
This macro is very useful to have. It allows you to cancel a Hand of Protection that may have been cast on you, allowing youto resume your attacks. It is also important because, while you are under theeffect of Hand of Protection, mobs will not attack you and instead will justattack the next person the aggro list (usually a DPS player).
2.1. Generic Addons for Druids
2.1.1. ElvUI
Here, at Icy Veins, we useElvUIfor all our characters. This addon is a complete replacement of the defaultUser Interface. It comes with almost everything you need to perform properly:action bars, cooldown timers, proc display, etc.
We strongly recommend you to get this addon.
2.1.2. Parrot or Mik's Scrolling Battle Text
Parrot andMik's Scrolling Battle Text are highlycustomisable addons for displaying floating battle text while in combat (incomingheals, damage of your spells, etc.). They both work very well by default.
2.1.3. Power Auras Classic
Power AurasClassic is an extremely useful addon that allows you to have visualeffects on your screen, helping you track your buffs, debuffs and cooldowns. It is highly customisable and it can make it much, much easier to keep trackof your procs and play your spec more proficiently.
2.1.4. Recount
Recount is awell known addon that most people use for displaying current DPS or HPS(Healing Per Second). We advise you to also use it for checking what youtake damage from and if the share of damage/healing you do with each of your abilitiesis similar to that of other players of your class.
2.1.5. Grid and GridClickSets (Optional)
ElvUI comes with decent raid frames. The only real reason for usingGrid andGridClickSetsis if you want to be able to decurse raid or party members by rightclicking their frame in the raid of party frame. If you choose to go withGrid, then you might want to also useGridStatusRaidDebuff.
2.2. Specific Addons for Feral Druids
2.2.1. Omen Threat Meter
Omen Threat Meteris the most popular addon for displaying the current threat levels on yourtarget. We recommend you to use it to check on your current threat levels andensure that you are not being overtaken in aggro.
