Oh wow this series is absolutely fabulous I didn't think it could get any better but it did. Loved Troy and Laura's story can't wait for the next one.

I love the story so much, it’s full of great moments, and the ending is so perfect.
Stella writes Beautifully and I can’t believe how well she puts these characters together, they are wonderful, the chemistry and charisma are off the charts hot.

Born Evil is the fourth installment in The Dark Lords Series and can be read as a standalone.
This was my very first book from Stella Andrews and I must say I was happily surprised.

I really enjoyed Troy and Laura together!
Worlds apart or so we thought, this is a story of first intentions, suave manipulation and a complete metamorphose of chain of events, plans of action and the heart that, suddenly, started beating faster, erratically and in tune the feelings coming to the surface.
Troy Remington, a tech mogul and part of the Dark Lords has vengeance in his veins and an infalible strategy to go with it. Laura is the pawn supposed to topple the king, someone completely out of his circle, someone expressly targeted to serve his purposes, someone he picked to be his new PA.
If only......
She wasn't so adorably clumsy......
And cute.....
And beautiful....
And trusting in this sham of opportunity......
Although, cleverly suspicious....
With a fire that begged to be stroked......
What he didn't know was that his perfect weapon had a helping hand and the picture was as clear for her as for himself.

I loved Laura! She was completely different from Troy and his upbringing, but the reader could tell she didn't know very well where she belonged.
Troy's offer was the opportunity of a lifetime, a suspicious one but she was ready to seize it as long as it lasted.
And, as information is known and Troy's agenda shifts to bury the knife deeper, she decides to get the most of it all, live in the moment, now in the clear, motivations and all the rest.

The narrative flows at the pace of revelations and adjustments, but keeps pretty tied until the end.
It was a surprise I was able to feel and I'll go on and say that, as other reviewers mentioned, I agree that it would make sense for this book to be the first in the series, just for the fact that it would open the whole new world of the Dark Lords to the readers, something that was not my case since I haven't read the previous books and the unpredictability factor was pretty much untouched until that eventual reunion.

I really enjoyed that Troy was humble enough to recognize his father's ways and understand the facts didn't add and, mostly, put his love for Laura as a condition of respect and loyalty, showing why his membership in the Dark Lords was honorable and deserved. I loved that Laura finally found her roots, is welcomed and part of the legacy.

Now, is time for me to run and read backwords in time for Melissa's tale!

Troy Remington CEO of a huge Tech business takes Laura on as his new PA. Laura quickly realises she is out of her depth and wonders if taking this job was a great idea. Troy is a total horror show to work for, add to that,information she gets from a mysterious stranger about her family, her life is turned upside down. Troy is apparently using her for his own agenda and everything she thought she knew about her parents and childhood is blown apart. He is driven by hatred and the need to avenge his Father's death, and will use Laura to achieve it.
A story of revenge that is slowly changed to one of love and heartbreak. Can Troy see beyond his mission to oust the Vieri family from The Dark Lords and see the chemistry building between him and this amazing woman who is so much stronger than even she thought she could ever be.
This is another great read from Stella, the heartbreak that drives Laura and Troy makes for a fabulous journey and we are still drawn in by The Dark Lords, but from a different point of view. We meet characters from previous books and also the mysterious Adonis and Apollo, who I hope we will hear more of very soon. This can be read as a standalone but I would really recommend you go back and read the first 3 books. They are all fabulous reads and you will get a much better understanding of all the characters who appear in this story and the particularly The Dark Lords.

Wow what an exciting dark book, I really hated Troy initially with his nefarious plans for our innocent FMC Laura. He started off as a real villain but gradually redeemed himself over the course of the book.
Poor Laura, I feel for her, especially after Adonis delivers his hard truths, what a shocking revelation for her to contend with. Love Laura and the way she maintains her head thru everything thrown her way. Think I’d have quit her job with Troy on the first day the appalling way her treated her.
Reading about Giselle , her mother was heartbreaking, the way the Vieri’s get revenge her is justified i reckon. They’re definitely not a family you want to mess with.
Hopefully we get stories for Adonis and Apollo next, love the Vieri’s, they really are supportive of each other despite their differences.
Love this series so much, each book explores their world and little more. I can picture that exclusive Mediterranean island, the massive villa and the constant sunshine, such amazing writing from Stella.

This AMAZING saga continues with Laura Kincaid , the lost Vieri child, the one who was rejected at birth by her mother Giselle Vieri who was gang raped in college , traumatized to the extent that she became a bitter psychopath who will stop at nothing to destroy her family and the child that was produced , Laura. Laura has been protected unknowingly her whole life by her grandparents , whom put her up for adoption in order to protect her from her mother. Being born into a mafia family, Laura has no knowledge that her grandfather is the founder of The Dark Lords organization and the enemies he has made along the way. Troy Remington is one of those enemies, when he vows to avenge his father’s suicidal death and plans to use Laura , Don Vieri’s granddaughter to do it. However, his plan back fires, as Laura is not what he expected and she’ll become his everything . This book is intense, you’ll want to devour it . Filled with secrets, you’ll seek to unravel makes this very Dark Mafia romance a must read. A 5 stars ⭐️ and more rating!

What a finale for this amazing series of "The Dark Lords." This book really draws you in from the beginning from the banter between Laura Kincaid and her friends about the ever-hot bachelor billionaire Troy Remington. To the hot and cold tension between Laura and Troy in regards to whose using who. To learning the whole background story of Laura's mother to the reasoning behind her being adopted and hidden safe by her grandparents. Finally, we see family being reunited along with tough decisions in regards to who do you pick your family or the love of your life. In addition, we meet a new character Adonis, who brings a different light and side of things especially with helping Laura face the secrets about her true identity while getting involved with his brother Apollo and Troy's sister Melissa. If you have not started the series, it is definitely recommended. Can't wait to see what Stella has planned next.

This story is difficult to rate because neither character wowed me. I just expected more from both Laura and Troy's characters. Both characters, at times underwhelmed me and others times annoyed me. They weren't horrible characters and the story/plot was well written, but not as good as I thought it would be. It was a good plot in that it was original and not something I've already read.

I felt that Troy's revenge was based upon bringing down Laura's gf who heads the Dark Lords because of what Troy's father had brought upon himself and not what anyone else had done. The Dark Lords merely responded in kind to a man they had given money and several opportunities to reverse his business' downfall, but who failed each time. When Troy took over the business, the Dark Lords sent business opportunities his way and were some of the reasons why Troy was successful in saving the company after his father's death. It seemed that his revenge was misguided and done for the wrong reasons.

Laura's characters seemed childish at times and resentful that she didn't have a better childhood with her adopted parents. She went to the best schools and had money at her disposal (even though she was living with middle class parents) but never put the pieces together or asked the right questions. She possessed an attitude through some of the novel that made her character sometimes unlikeable and immature. She is a college graduate but can't do basic things as a CEO's PA and preferred working in a pet store. I didn't have an issue with her wanting to work in a pet store, but after going to college, what was she going to do after she grew up? I felt her decision making skills were not the best.

The rest of the story and the association with the Vieri's Mafia family was interesting and wished that portion of the book could have been longer. The love story that unfolds between Troy and Laura was in part, predictable, but good. I enjoyed Troy's sister and hope she gets her story. I was familiar with Harrison from a previous novel, as well as some of the sub-characters from the Vieri's Mafia family.

an ok read, b ut not one of the best in this series

This story follows the unknowing granddaughter of the don. She was adopted into a ‘normal’ family and brought up unaware of her other family. Then she gets a job with a boss set on revenge and to do this he needs her. But it doesn’t go as planned.
This storyline is good and it’s a nice easy read that flows well. It’s a shame that in the beginning Troy is made out as a dominant, powerful, scary man and by the end he is a push over, I know the author is portraying that he will do anything for love but personally it dimmed the ending a bit.
Overall a great story and a good lead onto the next, which I look forward to reading.

The Dark Lords book 4. This needs to be a movie. It's sins of parents become hard knocks for the child. Laura doesn't know the truth of her birth of family. But Troy does and wants to use her as bait to tear apart her family and take over the Dark Lords. He's up against some really hardcore family with allies galore. He's not ready but he doesn't know. She is not your usual. And she plays him just as much. But somewhere somehow they fall for each other and now must battle to stay together. It read like a movie. Action, angstful, dramatic, hopeful, twisty,WTF moments and smexy smexiness that are oh so tingle worthy.

This was such a great book! It’s the last book in the Dark Lords series which makes me sad. In this book Troy wants to use Laura for revenge on her family. However he ends up falling for her and she him. Laura learns about a family she didn’t know and struggles with the thought she was “born evil.” Stella did a great job writing about these characters and their struggles. In the end family wins! I love all of Stella’s books! I’ll definitely reread this series!.

Another magnificent mafia plot which while ending it seamlessly moves to the next books story with one of our characters own story.

Troy has a plan to bring down the leader of the Dark Lords, Don Vieri by hiring Laura, the Vieri family's secret granddaughter. However, his plan goes wrong as Troy soon realises he cannot fight his attraction to her. Laura is approached by a stranger who explains he has been sent to protect her by the family who had her adopted after her birth. Some twists and turns as Troy tries to keep his family safe as well as securing a future with Laura.

When Troy's father takes his life, he vows revenge against those he thought responsible and to get it he hires Laura as a way to get to them. Once he finds out everything about his father, he has a change of heart which leaves Laura who finds out that the people that raised her are not her real parents. As a result, she can't comprehend the fact and feels that she may become like the evil she was born into. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

Dark Lords series, just gets better and better. Wow, Troy Remington and Laura Kincaid are just incredible characters. Laura does not know who she truly is. There are secrets that come out in this book that had me trying to read as fast as I could to discover what happens next. Stella Andrews is a really talented author and I am glad that I have discovered her work many years ago. I am always pleased with any book of hers that I have read.

Slow burn

I did enjoy Laura & Troy's story, however, it seemed like it took half the book to establish their meeting, plans, revenge, new family, etc. Once she agreed to the girlfriend contact things moved quickly and was excellent. I do love have the Vieris' greet guest and/or plues them in their place. Once Don Vieri days something is fine immediately and with no questions asked, not even for someone to take off a week to stay on the island if they value their life and/or to show their true intentions.

Each book in this series gets better. Troy has a heart of steel and is going after The Dark Lords. In comes Laura who may be what Troy needs to do that. The chemistry between Laura and Troy kept building until it exploded. Oh la la! This story grabbed my attention from the very first page with its plots and twists that kept growing bigger until it burst. Fun to see cameo appearances from characters from previous books. I see possibility of several new stories for the future.

I really enjoyed this series and can't wait to read the continuation of some of these characters' lives. This was a good book, but it didn't have as much action. I think this would have been better as the initial story in the series. And then afterwards have the other books. But, it was a good story and the author did resllt well with the characters. I can't wait to start on Melissa and Appollo's story.

Wow what a conclusion to a fantastic series. All of the books have been gripping, super sexy, they make you laugh make you cry & HEA’s thrown in. They’ve got it all.

Born Evil has more of the same. I love how stubborn Troy is & how just meeting Laura turns his world upside down. Family means everything to him & he fights to keep them safe & that includes Laura.

I love this series, it's not always easy to find a good mafia story but this series is just perfect in my opinion. I was hooked and couldn't put my Kindle down. I became caught up in this dark, delicious and twisted romance.

Download and enjoy but be prepared to be taken on an intense rollercoaster ride along with Troy and Laura. I was hooked and on the edge of my seat holding my breath, wondering what was going to come next.

This story is such a good read with great characters, great storyline and plenty of heat. As Troy sets out to ruin Don Vieri using his unknown granddaughter. When he starts to interact with Laura she is not what he expected. As each keep a secret from the other their feeling grow. When Troy faces off with the Don, Laura wants to be by his side.

Loved this book!! Troy is out for vengeance against the dark lords by usings Laura the granddaughter of the the head of it, Laura thought she knew it all but then her life gets turned upside down when she takes a job working for Troy and then learning who her real family is. I've read a lot of books written by Stella Andrews; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the fourth book in the Dark Lords Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Laura & Troy; he offers her a job to gain control of her grandfather’s empire.

Another fantastic read from Stella Andrews. The book was really good and had me on the edge of my seat, as Troy who’s a total jerk in the beginning and sweet innocent Laura’’s relationship evolves. But be ready for the twist and turns of this thrilling plot and how revenge turns into something much more than expected 🤩.

I don’t know why, but I couldn’t quite get into this one, as much as all the others. Maybe, it’s just that I have high expectations of the author, based on all her other books I’ve read.

I didn’t really take to Laura and Troy never really appealed to me, like Killian and Shade.

Maybe I will read it again and see if I missed something - but I would still recommend it.

Troy wants to use Laura for a revenge plan he has his mind on but what he didn't count on was his feelings. This is a interconnecting series so it does add to your enjoyment if you have read the previous books.
